The Epiphone is one of American’s oldest and most revered musical instrument manufacturers launched in 1873 by Anastasios Stathopoulos. Besides guitars, Epiphone also manufactured upright basses, banjos, and various stringed musical instruments, almost for every form of popular music. The Epiphone series took place within the NAMM trade event in July 1958 with the electric Emperor. The show itself would make purchases of 226 guitars and 63 amplifiers.
